Drs. Jason and Jean Larsen are a husband-and-wife team who work together seamlessly and complement each other’s skills perfectly. They share a passion for dentistry, a dedication to education, and a commitment to caring for your smile. Jason and Jean both worked as associates in private practices before opening their own dental office in Dallas, and they are loving the freedom of ownership and being able to provide the highest level of care for their patients. They are constantly investigating the latest technology to ensure their patients receive the best possible treatment.
Their main goal is to provide a secure and calming environment for patients who struggle with dental anxiety and dental phobias. Jason and Jean aim to show their patients that dentistry is not scary. They offer sedatives if needed, as well as CAD/CAM technology, which greatly reduces the number of visits patients must make to receive a dental restoration.
Jason and Jean have two children, Nathan and Madison, and a loyal family dog. Family is very important to them, and they spend as much time together and possible. On weekends, they can often be found exploring local attractions such as the zoo and museums, or fruit picking. Jean loves the outdoors.
Dr. Jean Larsen
Jean attended the University of Maryland, Baltimore County for a BA in biology. Until college, she dreamed of being a professor, but a prerequisite science class caused her to fall in love with science. She began volunteering in shock trauma every Saturday from 11 PM to 7 AM the next morning, but knew medicine wasn’t for her, so she switched to working for a local dentist and was amazed at how he interacted with his patients. She wanted to deliver the same level of care. While attending dental school at NYU, she worked in many outreach programs and participated in a faculty practice that treated patients outside of the educational setting. It was at NYU that she met Jason.
She loves the rewarding profession of dentistry—she can transform a life by transforming a smile. Her favorite part of dentistry is when a happy patient says, “Wow, I didn’t know my smile could look like that!” Jean was born in China and has lived in Germany and Canada. She is a member of the ADA, AGD, and American Academy of Facial Esthetics.
Dr. Jason Larsen
Jason earned his undergraduate in neuroscience and behavior from the prestigious Columbia University in 2004 before attending NYU for his Doctorate of Dental Surgery and graduating in 2010. He continues his education as often as possible, taking courses on CAD/CAM and endodontics, and advanced courses on dental implants. Jason is Level 2 certified in oral sedation. He is a member of the ADA and AGD. He enjoys the problem-solving side of dentistry, and handles the complex cases, such as extractions and root canals.
Family is very important to Jason and his wife, Jean. When not caring for patients’ smiles, he loves watching football with his family (Go, Vikings!), walking the dog, building computers, working out with P90X, watching movies, and playing soccer and golf.
