Office Update

To our patients and community:

We hope you and your family are staying healthy and doing your best to remain positive during these uncertain times. It’s been challenging, but we’re looking forward to getting back to our normal routines and seeing all our patients again.

We wanted to let you know that our unwavering commitment to your safety is still a top priority at Parkside Dental. Our practice has always followed the most up-to-date infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).

Following these recommendations is essential to providing care that’s safe and comfortable. But we’re also taking additional steps to ensure that every patient feels confident in our office.

We have strictly enforced the following guidelines to help protect both our team and our patients:

  • Prescreening of all patients will take place via phone the day before appointments.
  • Our team will check patients in while they remain in their cars. There will be no patients waiting in the reception area.
  • At this time, we will take the temperature and oxygen saturation of the patient before they enter the office for their appointment.
  • All team members will have their temperature and oxygen saturation taken twice per day.
  • We will maintain a 1:1 patient to doctor ratio in the office.
  • Copious amounts of hand sanitizers will be available to all patients while they are in the office.
  • Appointment times will be staggered to ensure no patients overlap in their visits. Only one patient will be in the common areas of the office at a time.
  • Same-day treatment will be available, but limited to accommodate staggered appointments.
  • We will allow extra time between patient appointments to deep clean each operatory between patients.
  • We will continue to use hospital-grade sanitizers and sterilization methods, and have added hospital-grade Hepa filters in all rooms.
  • Intraoral suctions will be provided for all patients to limit aerosol sprays during procedures.
  • Online or over-the-phone payment options will be available to limit in-office interaction.

Feel free to call our team at (972) 442-7550 with any questions you may have about these additional precautions or to schedule your next appointment.

Thanks for being a part of our practice, and we hope to see you soon!
